The North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has started upgrading the channel crossing capacity on Jalan Biola, RW 06, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district.

Kelapa Gading Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Citrin Indarwati said that the upgrading work was to follow up on the recess of Jakarta DPRD members. Previously, the area was often inundated during heavy rains.

It has been ongoing since Tuesday (8/9). Besides sending seven workers, heavy equipment was also alerted at the location.
